Kick It 08' Committee..Yeah!!
And the next day after Kick It 08' is Standered Chartered S'pore Marathon 08' duty.I dutied as end point marsher. At first all of us are damn tired cause lack of sleep,but then we slowly get high when we see the runners coming back one by one and we cheer them and encouraged them. There is also a guy proposed to his gf after he ran the full marathon with the balloon..so sweet~~~And the thing that really encouraged me is that even those handicap also join marathon and they managed to finish the marathon.. Sunburned..suffer~~But it was fun and i really gained a lot of experience and encouragement from the event.
After a week of common test (a suffering week),i went to Games' day organized by A-team last Saturday.The venue is Pasir Ris park,there is a nice place..I like there..We played games such as Captain Ball,Water war and station games..It was fun!That day i feel nothing to worry about and i can just enjoy all the games like a kid do..haha..THat night we also had BBQ too..

Finally,mid-term break i have been waiting for long time is finally here.But i cannot go back to M'sia because i have to stay at school for a week to prepare my Singapore Robotic Games(SRG).Now i like doing my attachment..Have to report to the Robotic Lab at 9am and work all the way until 6pm.So basically these few days I and my partner have to improve the Sumobot,program the robot,design it's weapon,make the robot tyre and study it's circuit.Phew..for a DPE student,is actually quite tough for me to study the circuit. Today i design the robot's weapon using UG(a 3d drafting program)..UG is totally new to me and i have to explore it by myself(my lecturer duno how to use it,but with my senior's help) and draw my drawing using it.I used almost half day to have my drawing done..Cool!I felt a great sense of achievement，because the drawing i drew is going to be sent to the inventor to manufacture it..By next week i think the weapon can be done.Just i still need to improve the drawing.. Tomorrow i still need to make the robot's tyre..The procedure of making is to mix three ingredients,then put into vacuum pump to avoid air bubble in the mixture,then pour the mixture into mould and put into owen for 5 hours.. So after all these by right my job is done.(I am taking care of the hardware and mechanical design of the robot while my partner is taking care of software-programming of the robot.)Hope we can win in the SRG next year..Can't wait to the competition..hehe
Common test is around the corner~~Haiz~ Actually I wanted to study in this morning, but then I get cold and need some rest, waste some of my time.. Pray that I won’t get during the common test week.
This Saturday I am going to Kick It 08’ (Soccer tornourment) and Sunday have to duty for Singapore Marathon 08’. These two days I don’t think I can spend time to study. So must work hard now..haha!
I think I will only update my blog after my test is over, pardon myself for a week. And good luck for all friends who are having common test too! ;-) Jia You Jia You Gambadeh がんばで

上个星期六是南洋理工学院与新加坡狮子会联办的Nyp In Action。那究竟是什么？当天新加坡各地的老人家将会来到我们学校有一个的聚会和派对，还有一些余兴节目。
Last Saturdaywas NYP In Action organize by NYP and Lion Befrienders Singapore.Hmm..What is the event actually?It is actually an event we gather senior citizens from different area in Singapore to NYP and have a gathering and party, plus some performances.
On that day we reached school and ate the breakfast prepared for us. Then we report to the respective position we hold. My job is Traffic Usher, and I just need to board onto bus and distribute stickers(To indicate their diet) to the Lion Befrienders voluonteer and lead the bus to block A and drop senior citizens by. And table ushers will come and bring senior citizens to the place we held the party.
After everything settled down, the performance start.The performaces were magic show, skit, singing and so on~ Besides, there was a nurse who teached senior citizens how to do some simple exercise to keep a healthy life style. Of course, we followed too. Then we brought them to canteen to have their meal and play games. There was karaoke session for them to sing also. Finally we brought them to bus and they back to their house respectively. And me,immediately went home and sleep. Because really tired..Can’t take it…
On Sunday evening, Me,Jun Wen,Paulina and her roommate-Cely went to east coast park. After we met up, we took cab to there. At first I don’t feel like talking because emo that time,plus my back was damn pain. When we reached there, we rent bicycles and cycle all the way to CHangi Hospital. After some time we realize there was a man who followed us. We found there is something wrong, then we stopped aside and see what he wants. And I pick up a wood stick to “defend”. The man just pass through without doing anything to us, I was so curious why he followed us all the way here and there is no way infront(because of construction area).
We didn’t move on because there is construction area that we cannot cycle through. Then we went back to east coast though Jun Wen don’t want to. Only that time we realized that the distance we cycled was damn far and we took another hour to cycle all the way back to East Coast. Haiz~Jun wen also complaint that his backside pain.hahah!! After that we went to have our dinner at a steamboat shop. The food was nice and worthy because is actually buffet.kerokero~~we used almost two hours to eat our dinner, Horrible! After the dinner we took cab back to our house. Too bad,I can’t go to beach due to lack of time. While we on our way back home, we only know that we cheated by the previous cab driver. We paid 19 dollars to East Coast, but only 11dollars back home. T-TArghh!!
还有上个星期三SEG care and share club的Tutor appreciation certificate giving ceremony需要人表缺乏练习”的我敢敢的去rehearsal和表演。当天，表演flute的突然叫我帮他伴奏。匆忙的拿了歌谱过后，就以大概十分钟的时间练了那两首歌。结果表演前就非常的紧张~不过还不错～几位讲师也称赞我弹得很好。当天我弹的歌是“卡农”＋“词，曲，我的祝福”（我写给她的一首生日歌，也是我这生人写的第一首歌）我将这两首歌合成一首歌来演奏，还用了digital piano的各种功能加强演奏的效果。
Sorry everyone, been a week I never update my blog, because I am busy with my Co-Curriculum activities. Ok, let me summarise what I’ve done in the week.
Past two weeks, my friend asked me if I am interested in playing band. Of course, I will accept the request. After a meeting, only I knew that the performance(Café) is two weeks after, that really shocked me. That’s why we need to practice almost everyday because we have 10 songs to perform, all are English songs, plus I never listen to those songs before. Haixx~~
Last Wednesday was SEG Care & Share(C&S) club tutor appreciation certificate giving ceremony. They need peoples to perform. The one who in charge asked me to play piano.
On that day, the flute player who also perform asked me to accompany at the piano. And we used only about 10 minutes to practice. Erm..the performance was a success, some lecturers said they enjoy the performance also. I played the song “Canon” and “My blessing”(A song originally composed by me, I dedicated this song to her in her birthday and this is a first I composed in my life) I combin He ed these two songs together and make a medley, I did use some effect from the digital piano.
Last Saturday I went to watch Dragon Boat competition with Paulina, after that we went to Replubic Polytechnic to attend the Standard Chartered Briefing. After the briefing we went to Cosway Point, Happy~~
On Monday, a special day – Vinson’s 18th birthday.WOW~ he was really touched..his birthday is the warmest birthday celebration~
On Wednesday, a day we have been putting effort in and waited for so long , is our Café~~After lesson I rushed to block E and setup everything and get prepared. Though the performance wasn’t that good, we are first time doing this and we only practiced for one week. That’s really amazing, Yeah~~Then I rushed to Symphony orchestra practice. Next year we having Sinfonia 09’ which held in Esplenade. We hve 11 songs to practice, so I must really practice hard so that I can perform in this event. Gambadeh!!
Today I went to Robotic training.I asked my lecturer whether I can take part in Singapore Robotic Games(SRG). And he immediately said yes because Sumo category still need helper. I was introduced to some lecturers and I will be working with a lecturer in helping her to fix the Sumo Robot. And I will be representing school to take part in SRG with the robot. Yeah~Finally I manage to represent the school.
